Starting a collection of collectible figures is a fun and rewarding hobby. At the same time, it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. Here are a few things to consider to ensure your collection is as good as possible.
Determine your focus area
Before buying your first figures, it's important to decide what type of figures you want to collect. Are you interested in specific games, movies, or TV series? For example, if you're a fan of League of Legends, a figure like Funko POP TV: Arcane LoL S1 - Ekko Figure can be an excellent start. This decision will help you keep your collection focused and meaningful to you.
Explore different types of figures
The market for collectible figures is vast and includes various types of figures from different universes. A popular category is miniatures from role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Including miniatures like D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures: Male Gnome Wizard and D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures - Kobold Inventor, Dragonshield & Sorcerer can add another dimension to your collection.
Store your figures securely
After you've started your collection, the next step is to ensure your figures are well-protected and organized. Tools like card and plastic protective holders can be very helpful. Although usually used for cards, products such as the UP - UV Mini Snap Card Holder can sometimes also be adapted for smaller figures and accessories.
