The Dai Yokai are those who currently walk the path of the Bushi, and their martial prowess and expertise know no bounds. Masters of the blade and confident in their own strength, these enlightened paragons have proven themselves capable of razing fortress walls with a single perfect strike. Cutting through the flesh and bone of their enemies is no challenge for these predatory catastrophes.

The foremost among the Yoroni are those who strive to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their kind to tread and master the road to enlightenment. Each of these brave souls must journey through the realms twice; once as Bushi, where they seek enlightenment from the noble ideals of their path, and another time as Ayakashi, where they seek enlightenment through complacency.

Although no one has yet succeeded in recreating this legendary feat, many of the foremost among the Yoroni continue to pursue this solitary path. Their forms have swelled to accommodate the power their enlightenment bestows upon them, while corruption and impurities slowly seep from their bodies, further perfecting them in their quest for ultimate enlightenment.
