Foremost among the Yoroni are those who strive to emulate the path of Shuten-doji, the first of their kind to walk and master the path of enlightenment. Every brave soul must walk through the realms twice: once as a Bushi, seeking enlightenment from the noble ideals of their path, and once as an Ayakashi, seeking enlightenment through selfish gratification. Although none have yet succeeded in replicating this legendary feat, many of the greatest among the Yoroni continue to attempt this solitary path. Their forms have swelled to accommodate the power that their enlightenment grants them, while their corruption and impurities slowly seep from their bodies, further perfecting them as they move towards ultimate enlightenment.
