The Sunless City was the shining jewel of Lordran, where hallowed spires and legions of knights were bathed in eternal golden light. An illusion conceals deceit from an empty throne, blinding the solitary souls to the truth of their abandoned city and their grim existence in the ashes of a dead kingdom. Within these ruins, a cooperative journey of survival and heroism will unfold for those prepared to die.

• Roles: Become the Herald, Pyromancer, or Warrior and navigate the haunted ruins.
• Enemies: Challenge the formidable Dragon Slayer Ornstein and the terrifying Executioner Smough.
• Cooperation: Learn to work together with other Unkindled to overcome dangers.
• Strategy: Explore locations once bathed in golden light, now lost in shadows.
• Return: If a character dies, the game continues, but at a high price. The entire party must return to the bonfire upon death.
• Challenges: Each encounter resets, and the odds become more challenging.
