Featherlight is a colorful and strategic card game where you help Pauly, a Potoo bird, collect his feathers after he fell out of his nest. Players must use their cards optimally to collect points and win the game!
Featherlight - How it Works
The goal of Featherlight is simple: optimally score every feather card in your hand to collect as many points as possible.
-
Collect Feathers: Trade cards cleverly and collect matches from both your private hand and the common card pool, called the "nest."
-
Scoring System: Each feather card gives points based on the type of feathers you have in your hand and what is in the nest at the end of the game.
-
Strategic Choices: Different colors of feathers have different scoring conditions. Some players might want feather sets while others prefer odd or even numbers of a certain color.
-
Complex Cards: The more complex a card is to score, the more points you can collect!
-
Common Nest: In Featherlight, you must not only manage your own cards but also compete for the cards in the central nest that affect all players' scores.
-
Bluff Your Opponents: Convince your opponents to take cards that are less valuable to them, while you collect the ones you really need.
The game ends when the last card is drawn from one of the two draw piles. The player who drew the last card gets to finish their turn, and final scoring is conducted based on the final configuration of the nest. The player with the most points wins!
