You and your team have a critical task: to collaborate to avert an ecological catastrophe that threatens to pollute marine life and destroy entire ecosystems. Time is short and the situation is worsening. By playing "The Spill," you will:

• Contain the oil flowing from the platform: Use strategic decisions to stop the oil before it spreads.
• Remove oil from the water: Gather and manage resources to clean the ocean.
• Rescue marine animals: Every decision counts as you work to protect wildlife.

This fully cooperative game is designed for 1-4 players and includes a unique 4-way dice tower that functions as an oil rig. Each time you play, dice will randomly drop onto the game board, creating a dynamic and unpredictable gameplay experience. "The Spill" is a so-called reverse tower defense game where players navigate along the edge of the board to push back and contain the oil, remove dice from the water, and rescue marine inhabitants.

The Spill - An exciting cooperative challenge

Players must work together to achieve three goals listed on their victory condition cards and address any potential loss conditions on the board before the game ends. Players will encounter new oil dice dropping at the beginning of each turn, increasing the number of dice over time. If you can meet the goals within the specified time, you win; otherwise, the game ends when the 60 dice from the bag are used up or you cannot address one of the three loss conditions. Contain the oil. Save marine life.
