Bolt Action - French Army Infantry

The French Army began World War Two as arguably the most powerful army in the world. Well equipped with excellent tanks and artillery, its infantry divisions were numerous and confident in their ability to defend against the hated boche, just as they had done twenty-two years earlier. But this was not the same war, and French soldiers too often found themselves fighting against German panzers that had outmanoeuvred them as the blitzkrieg rolled across Europe.

To the honour of France and its regiments, so many Frenchmen dug in and fought a more tactically advanced enemy. They fought resolutely against the sweeping offensives of the German invaders, giving their all at battles such as Hannut, Arra, Boulogne and Saumur. Many brave Frenchmen went on to fight with the Allies against Vichy France, garnering both admiration and disgust, whilst others would return to France with the Allied invasion of 1944 to retake their homeland.

This incredibly versatile plastic boxed set allows you to assemble the miniatures as regular French Army Infantry, Fortress Troops, Chasseurs à pied, Engineers or Colonial Troops (Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisian). Box contains 30 multi-pose plastic infantry with plastic bases and a full-colour waterslide decal sheet. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
