Bolt Action - German Heer (Winter) Weapon Team

Bolt Action weapon teams are a crucial part of any Bolt Action army, offering great tactical flexibility for your force. Sniper teams, anti-tank teams, and flamethrower teams are some of the most prominent, presenting your opponent with several challenges to overcome.

• Panzerschreck: A German development of the American bazooka, first encountered in North Africa. This unit fired a large-calibre shaped charge rocket, presenting a significant threat to enemy vehicles.
• Protective hoods: Due to the intense backblast from the Panzerschreck, early teams wore protective hoods and masks. Later, the weapon was fitted with a blast shield, giving it a distinctive look.
• Sniper weapons: During the Battle of Stalingrad, the defending Wehrmacht suffered heavy losses from Russian snipers, leading the Germans to begin training and equipping their own snipers with high-quality weapons such as the KAR-98K and Gewehr 43.
• Telescopic sights: Sniper weapons were often equipped with ZF39 telescopic sights, increasing the precision and effectiveness of sniper shots.
• Flamethrowers: Flammenwerfer were used throughout the war, often against buildings and fortifications. A lighter and smaller design, the Eintossflammenwerfer, was produced towards the end of the war, allowing for single use.
