Ever since the coronation of Sultan Mustafa, Princess Scheherazade has kept herself busy, using the resources she received from her brother's reign to continue her research as part of the Covenant of Enlightened. Her efforts have been crucial in funding and developing several key projects within the covenant, and she has also served as an ambassador for the Covenant in several capitals during the early years of her brother's reign.

Exactly what role she played in the Covenant's Schism remains unclear, as do our understandings of the event. What is clear is that the princess, with her talents as both a leader and strategist, has explored other avenues for profit and adventure. She expanded her own 'Promethean Complex' into a veritable arsenal, where she develops advanced weaponry for sale to the great powers or for use by enlightened forces.

The Princess’s contact with the Covenant's Warmaster, Schneider, has deepened her interest in military activities and the romance associated with a mercenary life. It is therefore not surprising that early in her Covenant career she established her own mercenary outfit.

The Crimson League, though often dismissed as a vanity project by powerful individuals, has become an effective and respected force in certain circles. The organisation is staffed by noble adventurers and eccentric aristocrats, and their operational activities show that they possess technologically advanced aerial vehicles and experienced crews who can collaborate, despite their flamboyant personalities.

The Crimson League has become a thorn in the side of the Sublime Porte, often launching attacks against perceived threats to the Sultanate without the official government's approval. The exiled Princess Scheherazade continues to be a diplomatic nuisance, and the risks are great: if the Sultan were to fall, could her nephew rally the military to his side against the power of the Golden House? Would the princess allow this, or would she intervene with the help of the Crimson League?
