Fairy Lights - Collect Points and Have Fun!

Experience the excitement of Fairy Lights, a game where luck and strategy go hand in hand to collect as many points as possible! Perfect for family game nights or playing with friends, this game will keep everyone engaged and entertained. To play, shuffle the deck and place it face down. Cards in the deck show 1 or 2 light bulbs in one of five colors, and each card is worth 0-2 points.

How to play Fairy Lights

• Starting the game: See how many cards are in the "shop," which is the playing area in the center. If the shop has 5 cards, you must take cards during your turn.
• Drawing rules: If the shop has 1-4 cards, you can draw from the deck. With 0 cards in the shop, you must draw.
• Placement: When you draw a card, place the revealed card at the end of the shop line. If it's the same color as the last card in the shop, your turn ends immediately.
• Strategic choices: If the shop does not have five cards, you can choose to draw again, or end your turn and take cards.
• Collecting points: When you take cards, if there are 1-4 cards in the shop, take all cards of one color. If there are 5 cards, take two colors instead.

It's important to keep track of your light bulbs. If the number of light bulbs of a color in your collection is a multiple of three (3, 6, 9, 12), you score points for those cards and place them face down in a corner of your playing area. If you have 1-2 light bulbs of a color, leave those cards where they are. If you have four or more light bulbs of a color and have not scored them, discard all light bulbs of that color.

Ending the game

When the last card in the deck is revealed, the active player finishes their turn, and the game ends. Count the points for your scored cards and subtract the points from any cards remaining in your playing area. The player with the most points wins!

Tips for storage and collection

To keep your Fairy Lights playing cards in good condition, store them in a dry and cool environment, preferably in a card box. This prevents wear and tear. If you have several games, divide them into sections so you can easily find the right game when you need it. Feel free to collect all accessories in a special box so you always have everything you need for a game night!
