When packing up the game, first place the rulebooks on the insert trays on the left side of the box, followed by the ship mats and score tracks. This allows the lid to close properly and facilitates vertical storage and transport.

Note: If you have an older version of Xia: Legends of a Drift System with thicker ship mats, place some of them in three rows on top of everything. This may cause a minimal lift of the lid, but still keeps all game components in place.
